As someone who never liked beer and had at best a complicated relationship with wine (I consider white wine to be drinkable, if the goal is to get tipsy or drunk, but I assert that it is better before fermentation), I relatively early on became a fan of cocktails. As such it didn’t take me long to discover Bobby’s Bar when I moved to Eindhoven, though I only started going there on a more regular basis once I found a really cute girlfriend that was willing to join me.
“Cocktails” are of course a very wide variety of drinks and very heavily dependent on the individual one, so I decided to start this review page, in part also to keep track for myself of what I liked and how much money I wasted. 😊

- Ingredients
- Licor 43, Averna amaro, chocolate syrup, beetroot juice, lemon, egg white

Has a fruity and sweet taste that is not as pointed as on many other sweet cocktails, but rather rounded and soft, almost creamy.

Black Orchid
- Menu
- Sweet & Fruity @ Bobby’s Kleine Berg
- Price
- 14.50 €
- Ingredients
- Black rice infused Bloom Jasmine & Rose gin, lychee liqueur, pandan liqueur, almond syrup, plum bitters, lemon bitters
- Number ordered (since )

This was recommended to us as being a bit “funky”, after Senna expressed her desire for the unusual at an order.
Both of us agreed though that it was a lot less crazy that for example the older “Fire in my Seoul”, or even the “Kimchi Cure” and instead is quite a bit more down to earth.
Both of us associated its taste with black berries, which is especially interesting, given that it doesn’t contain them.
Senna: It’s just nice and fruity. I think I’m drinking some fruit juices.

Bourbon Butter
- Menu
- Spiced and Smokey @ Bobby’s Stratumseind
- Price
- 13.50 €
- Ingredients
- Bulleit bourbon, chai syrup, vanilla syrup, maple syrup, lemon
- Number ordered (since )

A cocktail in the smokey and spicey section of the menu that I was hoping to be less so than the others, based on the ingredients, though I have to report that it definitely is on the smokey side of things. No shade to people who like that, but I’m not one of them, so I don’t intent to order another one.
Cake in the Hut
- Menu
- Specials Winter 2025/2026 @ Bobby’s Kleine Berg
- Price
- 13.00 €
- Ingredients
- Coffee infused Eristoff vodka, frangelico, banana liqueur, kahlua, chocolate bitters, whipped cream
- Number ordered (since )
- 1
Comes with a firm “kick” of strong alcohol that hides under a cover of chocolate cream.
Maybe best thought of as a white Ukrainian with plenty of chocolate and mouse added to it. The banana taste is not very strong, which I like, since I’m not a fan of bananas.

Call me Rafaello

- Price
- 13.50 €
- Ingredients
- Disaronno amaretto, Malibu coconut rum-liqueur, white chocolate syrup, coconut cream, cream

A nice sweat and creamy cocktail. Not the most exciting thing ever, but certainly worth a try.

- Price
- 12.50 €
- Ingredients
- Pistachio infused Eristoff vodka, Disaronno, licor 43, honey syrup, coconut cream, pistachio aroma

A very solid creamy and sweat cocktail that is part of the Winter 2025/2026 signature cocktails. I like it, but I can’t help the feeling that there are even better alternatives at a similar price point.

Madame Brulée
- Menu
- Dessert and Nightcap @ Bobby’s Kleine Berg
- Ingredients
- Licor 43, vanilla liqueur, vanilla syrup, cream, egg yolk
- Price
- 13.00 €
- Number ordered (since )
- 1 (But quite a few before)
The taste is very vanilla heavy, approaching pudding, but with a clear note of alcohol that causes more of a change to the mouth feel than to the actual taste.
Overall a clear favorite of mine and one of my most common orders at Kleine Berg.
Senna: Pretty basic sweet and creamy cocktail with a little bit of that crème brûlée taste.

Mango Nr. 5
- Menu
- Specials Summer 2025
- Dessert and Nightcap @ Bobby’s Kleine Berg
- Price
- 12.50 €
- Ingredients
- Eristoff vodka, Malibu coconut rum-liqueur , mango puree, white chocolate syrup, cream
- Number ordered (since )
- 0 (But countless before)
This is a very delicious, sweet and creamy cocktail that was introduced as a signature Cocktail in Summer 2025.
My personal take is that replacing the Eristrov Vodka with Havana 3 does further improve the taste, adding a bit more “depth”.
Still, in either variation, this is an outstanding cocktail!
Milk & Whiskey
- Menu
- Specials Winter 2025/2026
- Price
- 15.50 €
- Ingredients
- Oreo infused Dewar’s whiskey, chocolate syrup, chocolate bitters, whipped cream
- Number ordered (since )
- 4
As someone who doesn’t like Whiskey: This one is outstanding and a firm recommendation. When I ordered it the first time, I ended up ordering a second one on the same evening, which is something I normally really try to avoid!
That said, I did find it to differ between Stratumseind and Kleine Berg, and came to the conclusion that I like it better at Stratumseind.

Pump up the Jam
- Menu
- Specials Winter 2025/2026
- Price
- 13.50 €
- Ingredients

As the ingredient list may already suggest, this one is rather fruity and pretty good.

Scroll’s of the Nile

- Specials Winter 2025/2026
- Price
- 14.00 €
- Ingredients
- Date infused Bacardi Carta Oro, fig liqueur, galliano, sandalwood bitters

Overall a good cocktail and something I might order again, but not outstanding.
Smoky S’More
- Menu
- Spiced & Smokey @ Bobby’s Kleine Berg
- Price
- 15.50 €
- Ingredients:
- Marshmallow infused whiskey, smokehead whiskey, averna, maple syrup, cocoa bitters
- Number ordered (since )
- 1
Given that I don’t like smokey tastes in my cocktails, this one was a very pleasant surprise: While the smoke is definitely there, it is accompanied by a pointed sweetness that is only exacerbated, if one takes a bite of the Marshmallow that it is served with and lets it and the cocktail mix in one’s mouth.
Overall a clear recommendation for anyone who wants to tip their toes into smokey cocktails.
Senna: I like it, it is not overly smokey, but nice and balanced.

Summer de La Muerte
- Menu
- Dessert and Nightcap @ Bobby’s Stratumseind
- Price
- 13.00 €
- Ingredients
- Chili infused Jose Cuervo tequila, coffee liqueur, chocolate syrup, fresh espresso, cream
- Number ordered (since )
- 1
Despite the “Chili infused”, this really wasn’t spicey, but rather tasted like a very sweet coffee. Overall a really nice one.
The Kimchi Cure
- Menu
- Specials Winter 2025/2026
- Price
- 14.00 €
- Ingredients
- Bombay Sapphire gin, tomato juice, lemongrass syrup, lime, maggi aroma, kimchi, orange cream, saline solution
- Number ordered (since )
- 2
A quite unusual cocktail, maybe leaning a bit towards the savory side? In any case it definitely has a firm note of tomato juice, which shouldn’t be surprising given the ingredients.
I definitely prefer it over the “Fire in my Seoul” that was part of the previous “Specials”.
